212 Gives Back: Finding Homes for Lost Dogs

At 212, generosity is a core value—and a tradition. Every winter, each employee receives a Christmas bonus that is earmarked for a greater purpose: charity. Our blog will highlight the local non-profits that each teammate has chosen and share why they are important to us and our community.

For several years running, Senior Graphic Designer Josh has been supporting Warsaw’s own One Dog at a Time Rescue because of their inspiring work in the community. “There is an abundance of lost dogs in our part of Indiana,” Josh says. “This rescue arranges the ideal adoptions to prevent dogs from staying in shelters for too long or going without homes entirely.”

One Dog at a Time Rescue is dedicated to providing temporary foster homes for dogs that have been surrendered, abandoned, or found as strays until permanent, loving homes become available.

“The staff members do an amazing job at finding the perfect home for each dog. I don’t know of any other carefully-screened adoption organizations for dogs in our community,” shares Josh. “I think it is so important for dogs to be matched with the right forever homes—for both the dog and the families.”
