212 Gives Back—Helping Local Kids Reach Their Full Potential

Every December, we launch our “212 Gives Back” initiative by giving all our employees an extra Christmas bonus. Rather than using this money for themselves, employees choose a local non-profit to donate to, and then share what they love about that organization with the rest of the team.

Social Media & Content Specialist Bailey Gerber is supporting Joe’s Kids Achievement Place, an organization that offers speech, physical, and occupational therapies for local children. “Joe’s Kids meets kids where they are and provides quality, affordable care to help them combat all kinds of needs and disabilities,” explains Bailey, who learned about Joe’s Kids’ mission through a college project and quickly realized how valuable their work was in the community.

“The staff’s heart for helping kids reach their full potential is so clear in everything they do, and I fell in love with their mission as soon as I met them,” Bailey says. In a world where inequality and injustice seem so prevalent, Bailey loves supporting Joe’s Kids’ mission because of their belief that no child should be denied therapy due to lack of income or funding.

By providing affordable therapies and empowering children to unlock their full potential, Joe’s Kids has made a difference in hundreds of lives in the community. “I love to see the real-life stories of local families they’ve impacted,” continues Bailey. “I’m so excited to be even a small part of the work they do in our community.”

Visit Joe’s Kids website to learn how they’re changing lives in the community—and how you can be a part of it.
