Christmas Giving 2015 – David Phelps

Dec 29, 2015 | 212 Media Studios, 25 Days of Christmas, Christmas

This year at 212 Media Studios we decided to do our Christmas donations a little differently. We gave each employee $250 and said, “Give this to the charity of your choice, and share with the rest of the team why you made that choice.

David’s note:

Raise the Dough is an organically grown non-profit that supports the mission of helping couples with monetary needs during the process of adopting children. As our world grows smaller and smaller, more and more couples are adopting children from around the world, an organization like this is vital. Whether local or international, the costs of adopting a child can be prohibitive. Raise the Dough focuses on couples in need and holds annual fund raisers (donut sales specifically!) with all proceeds going to the couples in need, and earmarked specifically for the costs of adoption.

Tobe Forshtay began the organization, and has diligently worked to expand their impact over the past 5 years. I am thrilled to be able to support his work and help couples looking to adopt a child!

The 212 team has a heart for giving back—and I’m proud of them for making this a priority year after year.

See how other staff members are spreading holiday cheer too!
