How to Be a Heartbreaker and Blow Your Competition Away

We live in a society that is completely dominated by competition. Every direction we turn, we see advertisements screaming in our faces, telling us about different companies and what they have to offer to the world. With so many messages being thrown at the public on a daily basis, it can be difficult for your business to stand out in a unique and memorable manner, let alone blow your competitors away.

Instead of being heartbroken over this cold hard truth, consider implementing these ideas so that you can attract more consumers and completely transform yourself into a total heartbreaker within the marketplace.

Make Yourself Known- If you aren’t advertising, how will people know you are even an option?

1.) Identify your market. Get to know where your customers already are and then blast your message in these forums. It may be the radio, newspapers, or even on social media. Facebook, for example, is a great avenue to directly invite consumers to “like” your business, as well as communicate your existence to the masses.

2.) Get involved. When people think of your company, do they also think of your community participation? Organize, sponsor, or attend events pertaining to what you do. Consider giving free lessons and seminars so that potential customers can get to know about you on deeper level, what you do, and how you are different, or better, than the competition. Mold the public’s perception of you and show yourself in a more positive light.

Exceed Expectations– Go out of your way to provide the best customer experience possible.

Whether it’s quick service or devoting complete assistance to your customers along every step of the way, make your consumers feel like they are royalty in the way that you serve their needs.

Tip: Do not make your customers have to wait around, otherwise they will never come back to your business. They may even tell all of their friends about the awful experience they had with you. You cannot afford for this to happen. Offer customers refreshments, talk with them, or give them something to do to keep them entirely interested and engaged on you and your services.

Get creative and brainstorm how you can exceed your customers expectations.

Stand Out– Every business is different, yet every business does not stand out.

1.) Look different. If you don’t appear to be distinctly different, your business and its message will be easily lost in the sea of advertisement we noted earlier.

2.) Act different. Customers will remember how you first treat them. This goes hand-in-hand with exceeding expectations and going above and beyond traditional business practices.

3.) Think different. This requires being creative, innovative, and constantly focusing on how you can grow your business to meet the changing needs and desires of consumers.

Without executing each of these standards, your competitors will dominate you on the field. Blow away your competition by using these practices. When you do, you will be on your way to becoming a true heartbreaker in the arena of business.
