On February 12, non-profits from all over Kosciusko County braved the ice and cold weather to gather at the Winona Heritage Room and attend the appreciation event that 212 Media Studios had the privilege of hosting. This annual “2/12 Day” celebration was devoted to thanking local organizations for the work they do to make the community a better place. We were pleased to offer a token of our appreciation to the non-profit leaders who have devoted their careers to serving others. Our guests enjoyed food, encouragement, and fun as we honored them for their contributions to our community.
“It’s important for us to give back to local organizations to show them how much we appreciate their commitment to serving Kosciusko County,” says 212 Chief Marketing Officer David Phelps. “It was encouraging to the 212 team to bring all of these non-profits together to celebrate the work they do for our community. We’re hopeful this event left them feeling valued and refreshed.”
One of the event’s highlights was the announcement of a new Non-Profit of the Year award sponsored by 212 Media Studios. The winner will be selected based on its visionary thinking, innovation and creativity in serving clients and the community. This year, we’ll announce the winner in March 2019.
We’d like to extend special thanks to the Dekko Foundation and its president, Tom Leedy, who served as the guest speaker, encouraging local leaders in their work. Likewise, the Kosciusko County Community Foundation also played an important role in helping us facilitate communications with county-wide organizations. We’re also grateful for the support of Rob Parker and the Kosciusko Chamber of Commerce in its ongoing partnership with our company.
